In his most recent BBC Sport column, Jamie Murray discusses his forthcoming US Open mixed doubles final and playing Premier League fantasy soccer helps pass time at tournaments.
The US Open was a championship for me in the past few years and I’m hoping I will win another trophy once I play on Saturday Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the mixed doubles final.
Bethanie and I won the competition here last year, which meant after winning it together with Martina Hingis 2 years 25, I defended the title.
After we reached the final in 2015 as well I also won the men’s doubles.
So I’ve had some success here and signifies I’m looking to acquire a trophy when Bethanie and that I play with with Chan Hao-ching and Michael Venus, that are the seeds, in the mixed final.
I like the conditions it suits my game and I’ve had some great partners along the way.
I like playing in North America – I like the tournaments, I like the terms, I like the audiences – so I feel Once I come to New York to the last Slam of the season as if I’m constantly in great shape.
I struggled somewhat in the first 3 tournaments of this North American swing – and in Washington, Montreal Cincinnati – largely because we played with unique balls.

But I went to Winston Salem in which they began to feel better and perform with the exact chunks as here.
Though we lost a tight semi-final against Colombian high seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal along with Robert Farah neal Skupski and that I had a great tournament there.
We played with beat some good teams on the way and five great matches to get there.
It was frustrating to drop in this significant match with fine margins and miss out playing at our initial tour-level closing collectively, especially because there were no breaks of serve and very few split points, but there are a good deal of benefits to take within our partnership from the championship as a whole.
There’s been lots of fantastic tennis approximately, with both Neal and Bethanie, so today it would be wonderful to complete the Grand Slam year with a different trophy.
Bethanie is fun to play with and we’ve got a wonderful chemistry on courtroom. She’s a player, has a great deal of abilities and is quite creative, and she is feisty, gets stuck in and doesn’t return.

One thing which keeps me amused is fantasy football and because there is a lot of dead time there is not any justification for team choice deadlines and transfer.
However, this week is the break, therefore I’ve had nothing to do. When there are not any Premier League fixtures in the weekend, it is always disappointing.
There are 20 of us across two groups in our game, I am in the bottom branch and my brother Andy is in the branch.
