Will Tyreek Hill Play On Sunday Night Football Against The Colts?
ESPNs Adam Schefter reported that Tyreek Hill practiced yesterdayChiefs WR Tyreek Hill will practice today, per Andy Reid.
The status of Hill was not revealed by reid as the Chiefs are awaiting to see how his first day back goes but he did not eliminate the chance of the wideout playing against the Colts on Sunday. The Chiefs are 4-0 and they have one of the best offenses in the NFL, even without Hill.
Kansas City scored 34 points against Detroit using 438 total yards inside their come-from-behind win but Patrick Mahomes didnt throw a touchdown and the game demonstrated that they may be stopped.
Tyreek Hill, who recently agreed to some three-year, $54 million contract extension with the Chiefs, was expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks but they did not place him on injured reserve. Feb ESPNs Adam Teicher trainer Rick Burkholder advised him that Hill is actually week to week.
If defensive back Jalen Ramsey hit him out of 25, he suffered the injury early on the 40-26 win against the Jaguars in Week 1. Hill finished the game with two receptions for 16 yards and one carry for five yards.
Even the 25-year-old had 87 catches last year and was fourth in the NFL with 12 touchdowns in 16 games and 1,479 receiving yards. He also averaged 14.95 yards a touch, the highest speed in the league among players with 100 touches and he was among the top weapons in a Chiefs offense that totaled an NFL-best 425.6 total yards per game.
They have a formidable crime with Mecole Hardman, Travis Kelce, Damien Williams, Darwin Thompson, LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson and Patrick Mahomes and they have to be considered Super Bowl contenders, if healthy.
The Chiefs did not have their very best game against the Lions and they finished with 34 points and 438 total yards… so just imagine what they can do after Hill yields. 5Dimes favors the Chiefs from 10.5 points because of their Week 5 game against the Colts next Sunday.
