Storytime With Harry – The London Experience
I had a superb time in London working with some men while supplying some material and being a representative for Odds Shark. On Thursday nightI met with Joe Osborne, Andrew Avery, also known asNinja, Craig along with Alec in the resort and inside one hour or two we were off to the normal Liege/Arsenal soccer game.
It was not so simple to enter a pub near Arsenals stadium, although we were hoping to grab a drink in a pub nearby. We discovered you were not allowed in the pub, after that if your chairs have been in the visiting place and that the bouncers had to ensure you had a ticket into the game. WOW!! ?? We chose to get into the stadium and have a drink there Although we qualified to go into, as stated by the Arsenal bouncers.
The stadium was amazing, and we all had a drink but when the game began, we understood the English do things abit different than in the United States and Canada. Alcohol was not permitted to be consumed throughout the game, but at halftime in the lounges across the arena were really giving away free beer. Yes, you heard me right they gave free tap beer that we took advantage of !?? But when the second half began beer wasnt allowed again to become drunk inside sales and the arena completely ceased. The match was won by Arsenal 4-0 and they also scored three. This was something we didnt expect although we had a fun time.
The next day we did a Friday Football variant of Guys&acquaintances in which Joe and myself gave out our locks which just happened to win (always a great thing) while I was indulged in 48-degree temperatures just cause I felt like this.
Later that day we took the metro into Oxford Circus which is a gorgeous area of London where Big Ben and the jumbo Ferris wheel would be, plus a kids carousel where Joe and I chose to be children at heart and snapped it for the hell of it. We return to the resort where I think the major league baseball since it wasnt on at any bar, so we could watch the playoffs were streamed by us, nor was soccer to let you know.
On Saturdaywe slid into a parlor where you could bet the NFL, horses, soccer and the lotto. Seemingly although I tried to bet a parlay the ticket authors had never heard this term before and called it an accumulator. However, they couldnt get it right so for the entire trip I went wagerless (what were the odds on that).
Our movie producer, Craig, was only on fire although poor Ninja couldnt get lucky with his football plays. After that, we went to a pub to meeting West Ham United fans as West Ham had been playing Crystal Palace later. We met a few characters that were quite nice folks and diehard fans.
To begin with we came to contact with a superfan named. Subsequently there were a few more fans we all chatted and drank with, but a sweet lady who was a superfan created the guys day along with mine with her stories that are gambling that are spectacular.
This womans name is Ruth and she had been a riot, to say the very least. She had been a season ticket holder for West Ham and traveled 6 hours roundtrip to see their home matches. She went on to inform me how she likes to wager on roulette, blackjack, the ponies, along with her dream football and soccer leagues. I asked her when she had a bookie and she made a face at me as though I asked her dumbest question ever.
Her answer wasnaturally I do and that my nickname isTwat??along with his / her isTinkerbell since we all know bookies do not go by their specific names, thats gambling 101. Yes, and to reiterate her nickname for him was indeedTwat. I had a few pints and a slew of laughs — if you just happen to see thisTinkerbell I just want to say thanks for an excellent afternoon.
We went into the stadium where we did another live show where Joe and I continued to give more winners and 3-1 underdog Crystal Palace upset West Ham. Following the match, we needed to stop at the West Ham pub and hang with all the diehard Hammer lovers. We were hungry at this stage and no place was available so consider it or not we settled for Dominos pizza in London on a Saturday night. It was our sole choice and it hit the spot, although that is sad.
Subsequently the culmination of our trip occurred as if we traveled into Tottenham Stadium to perform another Guys&Bets series only before seeing the Chicago Bears (Monsters of the Midway)??carry on the (Silver and Black)??Oakland Raiders.
Joe and I gave out the under in the match which we believed we had before the Bears gave up a push, however we had a burst and still ended up going a joint ATS for the entire trip.
The fans at the game were in service of their favourite teams as there were different and decorations outfits galore. In addition, I want to give a shoutout to your lover of my All Colors podcast, a man by the name of Jazz who understood me (somehow??) , called out my name and asked to get a picture which was cool. Jazz gave us an interview in which he gamble with his core (as many Bears fans do) and not his mind and dropped money on an adjusted -9.5 line on Chicago.
We were fortunate to watch one of the matches of the afternoon in an atmosphere and it was a complete joy to share this experience with Joe, Alec, Craig, and Ninja.
Thanks guys and OddsShark for this particular opportunity, where is the next excursion men?
