Barcelona came from behind to grab a 2-1 victory at Leganes as a scrappy late winner that was awarded after a VAR review was struck by Arturo Vidal.
The hosts had taken the lead in coach Javier Aguirres very first home game in charge due to a strike from Morocco ahead Youssef En-Nesyri in the 12th minute.
Leganes spurned two opportunities to expand their advantage before the break but Barca levelled in the 52nd minute when Luis Suarez glanced in Lionel Messis free-kick.
Barca were unconvincing again but won the game in the 79th minute as a result of a fortunate goal from Vidal.
When he knocked in from close range, the midfielder was at a clear offside position but a VAR review suppressed him on as the ball was bounced off Leganes Ruben Perez.
Barca briefly extend their lead at the top of the table by three factors, though second-placed Real Madrid can go level when they host Real Sociedad.
Barca face rivals Atletico Madrid away from home and will have to do so without influential midfielder Sergio Busquets, who is suspended after picking up a fifth yellow card of the campaign.
