Paul Pogba: Sergio Ramos says door is open at Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos has lauded Paul Pogba because”one of the great gamers” and is optimistic the Manchester United midfielder will join him at Real Madrid later on.
Pogba along with his representative, Mino Raiola, both said United refused to sell the France worldwide, although he wanted to leave Old Trafford for a challenge.
United turned down a deal from Real of #27.6m plus James Rodriguez for Pogba, that returned into the Premier League club from Juventus for #89m at 2016.
“I think Real Madrid always has the door open for great players like Madrid,” Ramos told the Daily Express.
Madrid spent over #270m the summer – the outlay as head trainer Zinedine Zidane brought Ferland Mendy amongst many others, in Eden Hazard Eder Militao, Rodrygo – with a team.
Pogba has played all four of United’s Premier League games this year and captain Ramos considers the 26-year-old would bring balance to some side.
“For me personally, Pogba is among the great players,” Ramos said.
“He’s different and he’s shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United.
“I believe he brings balance to a team. He has a wonderful offensive influence and he’s this remarkable physique.”
