Misbah-ul-Haq named Pakistan head coach
Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq was appointed head coach of the national side.
The 45-year-old, who retired from international cricket will trainer Pakistan in three formats.
Waqar Younis, who contributes to the national team as bowling coach will supports him.
Former head coach Mickey Arthur, who abandoned Pakistan in the conclusion of his contract as soon as they failed to reach the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup is replaced by misbah.
The selection board explained Misbah as the”unanimous choice” for its empty role and have verified that he will even take over as the chairman of selectors for its national team.
“it’s very hard for me to join a selection of a few of the absolute best to have coached the Pakistan national sides before,” Misbah said.

“I understand expectations are very high, but I am totally up and ready for the task otherwise I would not have pitched my name from the hat for one of the most challenging and coveted roles in Pakistan cricket.”
