The Hundred: England Women’s Tammy Beaumont joins London Spirit
Summer england Women opener Tammy Beuamont has been signed by London Spirit for its inaugural edition of this Hundred.
Beaumont was among eight new women’s signings declared during the guys draft in London using Alyssa Healy along with Australia duo Meg Lanning joining Welsh Fire and Northern Superchargers, on Sunday.
Sophie Molineux, yet another Australian, has linked up with Trent Rockets, although New Zealand set Suzie Bates (Southern Brave) and Sophie Devine (Birmingham Phoenix) have also been picked up.
South Africa’s Lizelle Lee (Manchester Originals) and Dane van Niekerk (Oval Invincibles) will play in the initial staging of the tournament from next July, which will operate along with the men of event.
