Scott’s Pick: Virginia -1.5
Both teams rely on their defensive skills to win matches, and the Cavaliers’ defense is only a notch over the Raiders’. Virginia averages more rebounds than Texas Tech by nearly 1 board per match. The Red Raiders are extremely good at creating turnovers for additional offensive opportunities but that may be thwarted in this match as the Cavs average the fewest giveaways per game. Overall, I think Virginia is the better team and will be the team cutting down the nets for the national title.
